This year marked the introduction of the Build Your Own (BYO) program, an innovation that set the standard for customization in the sports world. The BYO platform allowed players to design and personalize their rackets, giving them control over the specifications, design, and functionality of their equipment like never before.

At the same time, DAHCOR introduced the NFC Butt Cap, featured in all tennis rackets, which enabled customers to interact with their equipment digitally. This early integration of technology in sports equipment showcased DAHCOR’s foresight in blending the physical and digital realms.

The global pandemic in 2021 posed challenges for many businesses, but DAHCOR turned adversity into opportunity. Early in the year, the brand initiated a monthly giveaway campaign, sending mystery boxes to over 50 countries. This initiative generated immense global visibility as customers and enthusiasts eagerly shared their unboxing experiences online.

By June, the campaign paused to make way for an even larger development. DAHCOR entered negotiations for an exclusive international distribution deal, aimed at expanding its footprint into more than 80 countries. On September 30, 2021, just one day before DAHCOR’s third anniversary, the deal was finalized, setting the stage for worldwide distribution of its products and the BYO platform.


2022 | Pioneering Digital Innovation Amid Global Challenges

Despite facing global geopolitical challenges, such as the Ukraine conflict, DAHCOR continued to push the boundaries of innovation. In 2022, the brand introduced the BYO ARCADE prototype, an interactive platform that allowed athletes to design and personalize their sports equipment in real-time using Augmented Reality (AR) and 3D technology. The platform aimed to create a gamified experience where customers could engage with their gear like never before.

Though DAHCOR faced obstacles in scaling its international distribution due to the conflict, the brand pivoted its strategy to focus on digital transformation. The beginning of 2024 marked a new era for DAHCOR, as the brand launched the Rally for the Planet strategy with its SET program, extending its sustainability efforts to additional sports like Padel and Pickleball.

2024 also saw the launch of the Custom Made program, allowing athletes to design not only tennis gear but also products for Padel and Pickleball. This expansion solidified DAHCOR as a luxury sports atelier, where high-end customization meets unmatched performance and sustainability.

The BYO platform took on a life of its own, transforming into BYORACKET.ID, an independent entity that will allow athletes and other brands to utilize DAHCOR’s customization technology. This platform aimes to revolutionize the global racket sports industry, offering unparalleled customization to athletes worldwide.


2025 | Looking Ahead

DAHCOR’s future is built on the strong foundation of its past achievements. 2025 will mark the next phase of the brand’s growth, focusing on global expansion and continued innovation. Plans include furthering the international reach of DAHCOR’s custom-made services, as well the launch of its new facilities to research and develop even more sustainable products.
